The tourist location of Ciater hot spring is located on the slopes of Tangkuban Perahu mountain, precisely on the edge of Jalan Raya Subang. Strawberry garden tour and surrounded by beautiful tea plantations. The fresh mountain air and beautiful scenery around this hot spring make it suitable as an outbound tourist spot.

The strategic location of Ciater hot springs makes this tourist attraction well known to the public, both in Jakarta and West Java. From the direction of Jakarta via the summit route, the distance is approximately 212 km to the southeast and takes about 5 hours. 

If you pass the Cipularang toll road (purwakarta direction) the distance is only about 185 km and can be reached in 3-4 hours. The location of this hot spring is also quite easy to access by public transportation from the direction of Bandung-Lembang which quite a lot passes.

The facilities available are also complete, ranging from hot pools, children's playgrounds, white water rafting, sports facilities, restaurants, and lodging in the form of hotels, bungalows, and villas. In addition to complete facilities, the main attraction for visitors is that the hot springs contain an added value from a health perspective.

In addition to flowing to tourist attractions, this water is channeled through a 2 km long river to the rice fields of residents in lower areas. When they arrived at the residents' fields, the water temperature had dropped to an average normal temperature. According to local residents, water with high mineral content is also beneficial for the plants in their fields.

After walking around and relaxing for a while in the hot springs, we can take the time for a culinary tour to enjoy a typical dish of satay or rabbit curry at stalls on the edge of the Subang highway. In addition, as souvenirs, we can buy pineapples and various processed products which are one of the typical commodities of the Subang area.
